Description:
For more than 10 years I have been implementing, training, and presenting Building Information Modeling tools to AEC companies. During that time I have had the opportunity to work with some of the technology leaders in the area of BIM. This experience has helped me define best practices and methodology for integrating BIM into everyday work flows for the architecture and construction community.
As early as the late 90’s I was helping companies learn about the benefits of using an intelligent data based model approach. Using parametric elements to create a building model and extract information which was automatically linked and coordinated with the model.
Along with teaching companies how to use BIM I was also given the opportunity to work on a number of high profile projects. This experience helped me develop better methods of implementation and training along with innovative templates and office standards. I have worked with many companies in this arena take their initial steps into BIM. Starting with design to producing schedules (4D) and estimates (5D) generated from the model I have delved deep into the functionality of Building Information Modeling.
